Here is a Limited Edition 1 of 12 prints. The subject in the print is a onsite installation made of unfired clay. The installation is an homage to Aegir which is the personification of the sea in Norse Mythology. The installation was made for my solo exhibition for the 16th International Biennale for Contemporary Ceramics at the Parcours Ceramique Carougeois in 2019.
*Photogravure is a process for printing photographs also sometimes used for reproductive intaglio printmaking. The process was important in 19th-century photography, but by the 20th century was only used by some fine art photographers. By the mid-century it was almost extinct, but has seen a limited revival.
